This summer was, well weird, wasn’t it? It by no means looked like my typical summer, swamped with weddings and editing. Instead I jumped on board the band wagon of the front porch portrait trend (somewhat hesitantly), switched it up a bit and ended up having a blast!
I got to meet new families, photograph newly adopted pups, see old clients and I was even able to document one of my 2020 bride’s outfit that she was supposed to wear at her bridal shower that was of course cancelled.
These sessions started out as a way for me to pivot my business but turned out to be a highlight of my summer. It was a great reminder that there are still so many important moments to document, even if big events can’t take place.
I loved these sessions so much that I’ve continued to keep mini sessions around as a permanant thing!
