On an actually pretty lovely day in November, Annie and Imran hosted the perfect low key but super stylish intimate wedding at The Emily Hotel. They mixed in tiny pieces of tradition but held an intimate ceremony with a larger cocktail hour styled reception with an epic dance floor afterwards. One of my favorite parts was they still embraced taking some chic photos outside despite it being fall in Chicago!
The Emily Hotel offers multiple spaces where you can host your event. It’s always amazing to see how simple decor can elevate everyday spaces!
I love a smaller ceremony for your closest guests followed by a reception for everyone else!
An informal, cocktail hour styled reception (with plenty of seating) keeps everything feeling easy breezy and super low key. The couple did an unannounced cake cutting and a quick thank you/ welcome toast to their guests.
These two were all about the dance floor and you know that’s one of my favoirte parts of the day to document!
Annie & Imran’s day is such a good example that you can plan your wedding day in anyway and exactly the way you want it to be!
